Within the program of work on evidence translation, the aim of this project is to undertake research on the evidence supporting the safe reopening of schools during the COVID-pandemic, with a focus on lessons from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The project provided a platform for translating the evidence into policy advocacy in favor of reopening schools worldwide to address the potentially irreversible consequences of school closures on the health and well-being of children and adolescents.
