Under Pillar 1 of UNU-IIGH’s 2019-2023 strategy, it states that IIGH will serve a policy hub function and play the role of a neutral and smart convener, leveraging its formal association with the UN and network of UNU sister organizations, as well as its location in Asia.
In order to do so, IIGH will deploy three main modes of convening: hosting, co-convening, and convening. This project will be the first major policy rountable under the convening category for 2019. It will serve as an opportunity to pilot this mode of engagement and to learn how we can improve our work in this area.
