Mr Kamal Malhotra, the UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei had bid farewell to all staff of UNU-IIGH during his brief visit to the office on 13 March 2013.
He was received by the Senior Research Fellow cum Officer-In-Charge of UNU-IIGH, Prof Dr. Syed Mohamed Aljunid greeted by Research Fellows and all support staff. Mr Malhotra took the opportunity to share with us the latest development on UNDP activities and projects as well as current issues of interest.
Mr Malhotra is due to travel to Turkey at the end of March for he will be the UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative for the Republic of Turkey, based in Ankara from April 2013. All our best wishes to you Mr Malhotra!
