    On 23 August 2013, UNU-IIGH Director, Prof Anthony Capon met with Em Prof Mohd Nordin Hasan FASc and colleagues from the International Council for Science’s Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (ICSU ROAP), based at the Academy of Sciences Malaysia.

    The purpose of the meeting was to discuss progress in Asia and the Pacific region with implementation of ICSU’s new interdisciplinary science programme on health and wellbeing in the changing urban environment using systems approaches.     UNU-IIGH is well placed to collaborate on this new science program by helping to build capacity for system thinking in population health research and practice. Next month, Profs Capon and Hasan are speaking at the first international conference on Urban Dynamics and Health in Paris which is being organised by University Paris Ouest – Nanterre La Defense.
