The International Society for Urban Health and the Association of American Geographers (AAG) are pleased to announce a joint international symposium on Geography and Urban Health, to foster inter-disciplinary and international collaborations in team science, geodesign for healthy urban environments, GIScience advances in health research and technology transfer, and geographic or biomedical research which addresses global health needs.
Sessions for the Joint ISUH and AAG Symposium will be held on Friday, April 1 and Saturday, April 2 within the 2016 AAG Annual Meeting in San Francisco. It seeks to bring together national and international scholars, practitioners, and policy makers from different specialties, institutions, sectors, and continents to share ideas, findings, methodologies, and technologies, and to establish, and strengthen personal connections, communication channels, and research collaborations and networks. UNU-IIGH will be presenting a paper at the symposium.
