Think City Talks is a series of free public lectures that highlight ways to create more liveable and sustainable cities. Organised by Think City, a community-focused urban regeneration organisation.
Speakers:
David Tan is a researcher at United Nations University – International Institute for Global Health. His talk will focus on mobility as a critical tool for improving health in the city, and how moving away from car-centric designs could halt rising obesity and diabetes rates in Malaysia. He will also discuss how systems thinking can help identify these leverage points for change.
The public talk is free, however RSVP is required.
