UNU-IIGH is organising the Southeast Asia launch of the Rockefeller Foundation-Lancet Commission report on Planetary Health on Aug 6, 2015 in Kuala Lumpur.
Chaired by Prof Sir Andy Haines of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, the Commission was formed to review the scientific basis for linking human health to the underlying integrity of Earth’s natural systems. The Commission report outlines actions that could safeguard both the health of future generations and the natural systems that sustain them, in the face of pervasive and ongoing environmental change.
