Dr. David Baguma is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the UNU International Institute for Global Health. He completed his Ph.D. research at the University of Natural Resources & Life Sciences Vienna, Austria. His areas of interest include application of multi-disciplines in rainwater harvesting technologies, climate change mitigation and adaptation, environmental health, carbon marketing, domestic water research design and training and wastewater management. Dr. Baguma previously supported donor development programme operations, particularly in developing countries; coordinated public-private policy dialogues; and was a guest lecturer at Vienna University. He is a member of International Water Association, an editorial board member of the Malaysian Journal of Public Health Medicine, a regional representative of the task group on Asia Pacific water safety plans, and has published more than 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals, as well as conference proceedings and working papers.
