Ms Jee Jee Kiu is the Operations Manager of the United Nations University International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH). She brings extensive administrative and managerial experience from her previous diversified roles in an international organization, banking & financial institution and corporate sectors.
Prior to joining UNU-IIGH, she had worked with the International Plant Genetics Resources Institute (now known as The Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT), as the Regional Manager for the Asia Pacific and Oceania region based in Malaysia since 2005. She was responsible for the overall operation functions (finance, human resource & administration) of the regional office and sub-regional APO offices in China, India and Nepal.
Before that, Jee Jee was with the RHB Banking group for 14 years, a fully integrated financial services group that ranked among the top banks in Malaysia. She began her career in RHB holding various roles such as Operations Officer, Credit & Marketing Officer, and leadership roles as Head of Credit Control for ANGKASA loan and a Branch Manager. In between these two organizations, she also worked in the corporate sectors for a short stint as the director for corporate planning and an office manager handling strategic planning, HR, operation transformation and program management.
She holds a PGDBA from the University of Lincoln in 2002 and, also, from Swansea Institute of Higher Education (now known as University of Wales, Trinity Saint David, Swansea) in 1996.
