Tiffany Nassiri-Ansari holds a Bachelor’s in Arts and Social Sciences from Monash University Malaysia, where she double-majored in Global Studies and Gender Studies. She originally joined UNU-IIGH as a Research Intern in 2020 before returning as a Research Assistant in 2021.

Her work primarily revolves around The Lancet Commission on Gender and Global Health on which UNU-IIGH’s Director, Pascale Allotey, serves as Co-Chair. Tiffany’s current focus is the historical evolution of gender and health and contemporary contestations within this space, complementing her personal research interest in the intersections of inequities.
